Located about one block from the gondola and steps from the local shops and restaurants in town, your whole group will love the effortless way this home allows you to immerse yourself in everything you come to the box canyon to enjoy.

A Luxurious Living Area

Our tour of this classic Colorado home begins with the charming facade. Brick detail and a cozy front porch add endless amounts of curb appeal. Open the front door into the entryway, which boasts a convenient mudroom and powder room. The main level living area is welcoming and warm, with crisp white walls, natural wood floors, and a large fireplace. Pour a glass of wine and take a seat on one of the soft leather sofas or upholstered armchairs, which face the fireplace and 55-inch HDTV. With a BluRay player, DirecTV, and a Sonos surround-sound system, this is the ideal spot to kick back and catch up on your favorite TV show.

A Custom, Open Kitchen

The kitchen sits right next to the living area and is wide open to the room. Luxe soapstone countertops sit atop custom white cabinets, and a huge paneled refrigerator blends seamlessly in with the cabinet design. There’s also a Viking gas range that houses a double oven, six burners, and a griddle. This kitchen is fully equipped to prepare everything from muffins to macaroni and cheese with total ease. And there’s tons of seating too— including a formal dining table that seats eight, a breakfast bar that seats three, and a sun-kissed terrace with a table that seats four and features breathtaking mountain views.

A Sumptuous Penthouse Suite

Upstairs on the penthouse level lies the dreamy primary suite. Here you’ll find a massive king-size sleigh bed, a fireplace, and a comfy seating area. Tremendous mountain views can be seen from these upper-level windows, and there’s also an HDTV for watching classic movies in bed. The ensuite bathroom includes a steam shower behind glass doors, a deep soaking tub, and a double vanity sink. A few steps down from this primary suite, there’s also a dedicated workspace with a desk.

Down one-half flight of stairs is a bedroom with a queen-size bed, HDTV, ceiling fan, and an ensuite bathroom with a glass shower. On the landing between this bedroom and the floor below is a laundry room with a high-efficiency, front-loading washer and dryer and sink, and a full bathroom with a shower. Guests may also choose from a secondary suite with a king-size bed, HDTV, and an attached bath with a unique glass shower. Kids will love the large bunk room with a twin-over-queen-size bunk bed and a twin trundle.

An Extra Living Space

Also on the lowest level is a comfortable media room. This flexible space includes a kitchenette with a wet bar and mini-fridge, a plush sectional sofa with a pull-out queen-size bed, and a large HDTV with a BluRay player and Sonos surround sound system.

A Refined Box Canyon Retreat

This home is so delightfully designed and comfortable that you may find it difficult to leave. But when it is time to explore, simply step out your front door and stroll into town, or to the gondola which is just one block away. You’ll also be close to the ski slopes and hiking and mountain biking trails as well. There’s an endless amount of outdoor adventure to enjoy— and it all begins here at 205 South Oak B.

"A SUMMER STAY IN THIS WONDERFUL HOME IS A LUXURIOUS EXPERIENCE"

5 of 5

A Summer stay in this wonderful home is a luxurious experience. I’ve stayed here for 2 summers, and enjoyed the location tremendously. It is right in the heart of Telluride and walking distance to shops, restaurants, and activities. Each day, I walked with my children from this home to the Ah Haa School for the Arts along the beautiful Telluride river walk. We loved being able to park our car and forget about it for days! The free gondola to the Mountain Village is just around the corner from this home, and it runs all summer long with access to mountain activities for kids and grown-ups. The open-air porch, with views of the surrounding mountains, is a beautiful place to relax after a hike, have a glass of wine, and catch up with friends. The main level allows for easy entertaining with plentiful seating, and the kitchen is well appointed. This home is great for a family gathering! My kids enjoyed the lower level game room with a big screen TV and comfy L-shaped sofa. They also loved the sturdy bunk bed room, where they hung a blanket and played in their “fort”. I loved the home's easy functionality and its sophisticated decor! If you are looking for a place to stay where kids and parents can enjoy the same vacation, this home is the place. You will want to return here every year!
