Uniquely situated in the natural wonder of the Sian Kaan Biosphere, Casa Cantarena is a stunning villa built in a Mayan contemporary style with an emphasis on offering all of the modern conveniences while remaining friendly to the environment with power naturally provided by both the wind and the sun with a backup generator. In addition to the amazing beachfront views, guests may also expect to enjoy views of the lagoon and the surrounding beauty of the tropical jungle. As many as 10 people may comfortably stay at Casa Cantarena, and it offers four bedrooms and four baths perfectly arranged between the main level and the spacious loft.

Living Spaces

Come take a seat in the great room on its immense U-shaped sofa with room for everyone so that you can discuss the day's activities or just relax and enjoy the view from the floor-to-ceiling glass doors. There's also a nice kitchen with everything needed to prepare excellent meals and a private chef to do the cooking, and you may all enjoy your meal together either at the large table in the dining room or at the outside dining area where you can feel the sea breeze and watch the sun set after another glorious day.

Sleeping Areas

On the main level, you'll discover two master suites on opposite ends of the home for extra privacy, and these offer a king-size bed, a flat-screen television and a private bath with both an indoor and an outdoor shower. This level also features a guest suite with two full-size beds and a private bath with a glass shower. Climb up to the loft, and you'll find the last guest suite with a twin-size bed and a full-size bed and a private bath, and this room is often popular with the children or teens in the group.

A Full Staff

In addition to the chef, who will create a menu to your liking from the area's freshest seasonal ingredients, guests may also enjoy the services of a butler, a housekeeper and a house manager, who is available to assist you with your daily itinerary so that you can be sure of doing and seeing everything that you're interested in during your time in Tulum. A qualified nanny may also be secured for those who are traveling with young children.

Fun and Relaxation

A fresh-water pool awaits with perfect views of the ocean, and it's surrounded by comfy covered sunbeds, lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. Kayaks and snorkeling equipment are available for those who would prefer to head on down to the sea, and the clear waters are just right for spotting the many colorful fish swimming alongside. Relax with a drink beneath the moon in the rooftop hot tub, and this home also boasts a home theater for fun movie nights.

Perfect Location

Those who choose to stay at Casa Cantarena may expect to enjoy the privacy that it offers, but it's also not far from the things that you'll want to explore in and around Tulum. These include popular restaurants down the road in Punta Allen, the well-preserved Mayan ruins and the many eco-friendly attractions.

"Hidden Gem in Tulum"

Casa Cantarena is a hidden Gem in Tulum. Set right on the sand with personalized service including a butler and villa manager to assist with all your needs. Before you arrive you have the option to suggest your menu and provide any allergies. The staff was incredible and anytime you think you might be thirsty they are by your side with either a cocktail or refreshing coconut drink. Dinner in the evenings are outside on the sand listening to the ocean waves followed by star gazing and conversations with your party. Your breakfast is made fresh daily overlooking the sunrise. It has all the needed services that a hotel can offer but instead of fighting over a beach or pool chair with the other guests you have the whole private peach and pool to yourself. They even have turn-down service which included a little chocolate with water by your bed. Everything was very well run and I was very impressed. Highly recommend for a private getaway to Tulum.
